Violet Tide is an original 30 cm resin seascape inspired by the ever-changing colours and movement of the Shetland sea.
Layers of deep violet, turquoise and blue flow through the piece, while sweeping white resin creates the impression of waves breaking and rolling towards the shore. Fine white details scattered across the surface add a feeling of sea spray and wild weather, capturing that moment when sea and sky seem to merge together.
Handmade in my Shetland studio, each layer of resin develops its own natural movement, making every seascape completely unique.

How It's Made
How It's Made
Each piece of artwork within the Sea Glass collection is made from glass collected by Sarah from a beach in Shetland. Varying in colours and shapes, sea glass can be found in abundance here in Shetland, having been washed up on the shoreline after a storm.
Sarah hand picks each piece of sea glass then cleans and sorts them into sizes and colours before incorporating them into her artwork.

Clean using a damp cloth, buff with a dry one.
Polish if necessary using Original T-Cut car polish.
