Gilded Tide is an original 40 cm circular resin seascape, inspired by the dramatic meeting of sea and light along Shetland’s rugged coastline.
Layers of rich teal, deep ocean blue and shimmering metallic gold create the impression of sunlight breaking through after a passing squall. Two powerful waves roll across the composition, their delicate white sea foam contrasting beautifully against the glowing sea beneath. The high-gloss resin finish enhances the depth and movement, making the artwork appear to change with the light.
Each piece is individually handcrafted in my Shetland studio, ensuring every artwork is completely unique.

How It's Made
How It's Made
Each piece of artwork within the Sea Glass collection is made from glass collected by Sarah from a beach in Shetland. Varying in colours and shapes, sea glass can be found in abundance here in Shetland, having been washed up on the shoreline after a storm.
Sarah hand picks each piece of sea glass then cleans and sorts them into sizes and colours before incorporating them into her artwork.

Clean using a damp cloth, buff with a dry one.
Polish if necessary using Original T-Cut car polish.
