As dusk settles over the sea, the last traces of turquoise water meet a sky washed with deep indigo, violet and soft hints of teal. Twilight Tide captures the energy of the ocean at the moment day gives way to night, with powerful rolling waves frozen in resin.
Created on a 40 cm circular wooden panel, this original artwork is built in multiple layers to create depth and movement. The crashing white surf contrasts beautifully against the rich, moody tones beneath, giving the piece a striking sense of drama while remaining calm and atmospheric.
Inspired by the ever-changing seas surrounding Shetland, each wave is individually shaped by hand, making every artwork completely unique.

How It's Made
Each piece of artwork within the Sea Glass collection is made from glass collected by Sarah from a beach in Shetland. Varying in colours and shapes, sea glass can be found in abundance here in Shetland, having been washed up on the shoreline after a storm.
Sarah hand picks each piece of sea glass then cleans and sorts them into sizes and colours before incorporating them into her artwork.

Polish if necessary using Original T-Cut car polish.
