Shetland Sea Glass Hoop Earrings – Handcrafted from Nature’s Treasure

Embrace the wild beauty of Shetland with these unique sea glass hoop earrings, handcrafted using genuine sea glass found along Shetland’s rugged shores. Each pair features naturally tumbled, wave-worn glass in rich tones of cobalt blue, amber brown, frosted white, or vibrant green, echoing the island’s maritime soul.

Set on minimalist silver hoops, the sea glass pieces vary slightly in shape and size, making every pair one-of-a-kind—just like the tide that brought them ashore. Whether you’re drawn to their coastal charm or their eco-friendly origin, these earrings are perfect for nature lovers, island dreamers, and those who cherish slow-made, sustainable jewellery.

They come in a satin gift pouch with info card. The hoop measures 16 mm across and is sterling silver.

How It's Made

Each piece of artwork within the Sea Glass collection is made from glass collected by Sarah from a beach in Shetland. Varying in colours and shapes, sea glass can be found in abundance here in Shetland, having been washed up on the shoreline after a storm.

Sarah hand picks each piece of sea glass then cleans and sorts them into sizes and colours before incorporating them into her artwork.

Care Instructions

If necessary the glass can be cleaned in warm soapy water and colour can be enhanced by polishing with a drop of coconut or Olive oil.
