A dramatic circular seascape capturing the wild, shifting character of the Shetland sea.
Deep teal and turquoise waters meet a moody sky washed with soft blue, grey and violet tones, while sweeping layers of white resin surge across the foreground like waves breaking towards the shore. Delicate spray and fine details give the piece a wonderful sense of movement, as though the sea has been caught at the instant the waves begin to crest.
The subtle lilac tones beneath the surf add an unexpected softness to the powerful movement of the water, contrasting beautifully with the darker, atmospheric sky.
Created by hand using layers of resin, this is a completely unique original artwork. The circular format draws the eye into the scene and makes a striking statement on the wall.

How It's Made
How It's Made
Each piece of artwork within the Sea Glass collection is made from glass collected by Sarah from a beach in Shetland. Varying in colours and shapes, sea glass can be found in abundance here in Shetland, having been washed up on the shoreline after a storm.
Sarah hand picks each piece of sea glass then cleans and sorts them into sizes and colours before incorporating them into her artwork.

Polish if necessary using Original T-Cut car polish.
