Layers of turquoise, deep ocean blue and soft sea-grey flow through this 30cm resin seascape, with sweeping white waves and scattered sea spray capturing the restless movement of the Shetland sea.
I love the contrast in this piece — from the darker, deeper water at its centre to the bright turquoise shallows and foaming waves below. The fine details created naturally within the resin give the impression of waves breaking, curling and dissolving into one another.
Handmade in Shetland and inspired by the ever-changing sea surrounding the islands, Sea in Motion is an original, one-of-a-kind artwork.

How It's Made
How It's Made
Each piece of artwork within the Sea Glass collection is made from glass collected by Sarah from a beach in Shetland. Varying in colours and shapes, sea glass can be found in abundance here in Shetland, having been washed up on the shoreline after a storm.
Sarah hand picks each piece of sea glass then cleans and sorts them into sizes and colours before incorporating them into her artwork.

Clean using a damp cloth, buff with a dry one.
Polish if necessary using Original T-Cut car polish.
