Blue Shetland Sea Glass Pendants – Choose Your Favourite

A beautiful collection of five individually wire-wrapped blue sea glass pendants, handmade by me in Shetland using genuine pieces of sea glass collected from Shetland’s shores.

Each piece has been naturally shaped and softened by years of tumbling in the sea, meaning no two pieces will ever be exactly alike. The shades range from deep cobalt blue through turquoise to a brighter ocean blue, with each piece individually wrapped to complement its natural shape.

Please note: the wire wrapping is not silver. These pendants are supplied without a chain, allowing you to add them to your own favourite chain, cord or necklace.  I do also make sterling silver ones- see my other listings.

How It's Made

Each piece of artwork within the Sea Glass collection is made from glass collected by Sarah from a beach in Shetland. Varying in colours and shapes, sea glass can be found in abundance here in Shetland, having been washed up on the shoreline after a storm. 

Sarah hand picks each piece of sea glass then cleans and sorts them into sizes and colours before incorporating them into her artwork. 

 

Care Instructions

If necessary the glass can be cleaned in warm soapy water and colour can be enhanced by polishing with a drop of coconut or Olive oil.
