Bring the drama of the North Sea into your home with this original resin seascape, inspired by the wild coastlines and ever-changing skies of Shetland. Layers of deep stormy blues, smoky greys and soft metallic tones create a moody horizon, while sweeping white resin captures the movement and energy of crashing waves in remarkable detail.
This circular artwork has a real sense of motion and atmosphere, evoking the feeling of standing beside the sea as the tide rolls in under darkening skies. The glossy resin finish enhances the depth of the water and reflects the light beautifully throughout the day.
Each piece is individually handmade in Shetland by Sarah Kay, making every artwork completely unique.

How It's Made
How It's Made
Each piece of artwork within the Sea Glass collection is made from glass collected by Sarah from a beach in Shetland. Varying in colours and shapes, sea glass can be found in abundance here in Shetland, having been washed up on the shoreline after a storm.
Sarah hand picks each piece of sea glass then cleans and sorts them into sizes and colours before incorporating them into her artwork.
