This original sea glass collage features a gentle spiral formed from hand-collected beach glass in soft greens, olives and milky whites. Naturally tumbled by the sea over many years, each piece has been carefully selected and arranged to create a sense of movement, balance and calm.

The spiral shape echoes natural coastal rhythms — tides, shells and currents — drawing the eye inward to a subtle focal point at the centre. Set within a deep, box frame, the glass casts delicate shadows that change with the light, adding depth and quiet interest throughout the day.

Inspired by time spent beachcombing along Shetland’s shores, this piece celebrates patience, nature and the beauty found in weathered fragments. A timeless coastal artwork that works beautifully in both contemporary and traditional interiors.

How It's Made

Each piece of artwork within the Sea Glass collection is made from glass collected by Sarah from a beach in Shetland. Varying in colours and shapes, sea glass can be found in abundance here in Shetland, having been washed up on the shoreline after a storm.

Sarah hand picks each piece of sea glass then cleans and sorts them into sizes and colours before incorporating them into her artwork.
