A gentle wave rolls ashore beneath a sky brushed with soft gold and tranquil blues in Golden Tide, an original resin seascape inspired by the quiet beauty of Shetland’s coastline. The shimmering golden horizon reflects the changing light, while layers of translucent resin create depth, movement and the illusion of crystal-clear water.
Created on a 20 cm circular wooden panel, this handcrafted artwork captures the peaceful rhythm of the sea. Every wave is individually shaped by hand, with delicate lacing and flowing white surf making each piece completely unique.
The combination of warm metallic gold, calming ocean blues and crisp white foam creates a timeless coastal palette that complements both modern and traditional interiors.

How It's Made
Each piece of artwork within the Sea Glass collection is made from glass collected by Sarah from a beach in Shetland. Varying in colours and shapes, sea glass can be found in abundance here in Shetland, having been washed up on the shoreline after a storm.
Sarah hand picks each piece of sea glass then cleans and sorts them into sizes and colours before incorporating them into her artwork.

Polish if necessary using Original T-Cut car polish.
