This original 23 cm mosaic heart celebrates the beauty of giving forgotten treasures a new life. Handcrafted from a thoughtfully curated collection of genuine Shetland sea glass, vintage beach pottery, reclaimed jewellery and coastal finds, each element has been carefully arranged to create a unique piece full of colour, texture and history.
Every fragment has its own story. Sea glass has been softened by decades in the sea, pottery hints at lives and places long gone, while repurposed jewellery adds sparkle and elegance, proving that even broken treasures can become something beautiful once again.
Presented in a deep box frame, this one-of-a-kind artwork is inspired by countless hours spent beachcombing along Shetland’s shores, where every walk offers the possibility of an unexpected discovery.

How It's Made
Each piece of artwork within the Sea Glass collection is made from glass collected by Sarah from a beach in Shetland. Varying in colours and shapes, sea glass can be found in abundance here in Shetland, having been washed up on the shoreline after a storm.
Sarah hand picks each piece of sea glass then cleans and sorts them into sizes and colours before incorporating them into her artwork.

Polish if necessary using Original T-Cut car polish.
