A dramatic resin seascape capturing the untamed beauty of the Shetland coast, where powerful Atlantic waves surge beneath a brooding sky. Layers of deep sapphire, turquoise and white resin recreate the movement and energy of the sea, while a lone gull glides effortlessly above the swell, bringing a sense of freedom and calm amidst the storm.
Hints of golden shoreline shimmer beneath the translucent water, adding warmth and depth to the composition. Finished to a high-gloss shine, this 50 cm circular artwork celebrates the ever-changing relationship between sea, sky and wildlife, inspired by the wild coastline that surrounds my island home in Shetland.

How It's Made
How It's Made
Each piece of artwork within the Sea Glass collection is made from glass collected by Sarah from a beach in Shetland. Varying in colours and shapes, sea glass can be found in abundance here in Shetland, having been washed up on the shoreline after a storm.
Sarah hand picks each piece of sea glass then cleans and sorts them into sizes and colours before incorporating them into her artwork.
