My new range of handmade buttons, from Shetland.

These ones are individually hand made using shell sand ( naturally broken shell )

The shell sand was collected from a special beach on the Island of Whalsay. Each one is slightly different, most have tiny pieces of sea glass and recognisable pieces of shell.

Sold as a matching pair. 3 sizes available.

The largest size is 3cm- with rim and hand drilled holes. Medium size is 2.5 cm and small 2 cm.

How It's Made

Each piece is crafted by hand in Sarah's Scalloway studio using a mix of epoxy resin, metallic pigments and acrylic paint.

Resin is a durable and long-lasting material, so you can be sure that your seascape will stand the test of time. With proper care, it will retain its beauty for years to come.
